Vintage Summer Engagement Session in Tampa, FL | Chris + Danica | Tampa Wedding Photographer

I had the BEST time with Danica and Chris for their vintage inspired engagement session in September. We did a little re-creation of her grandparents pictures and they are my favorite session to date. A little back story on this beautiful car and the reason its so dear to this family… These are Danica’s grandparents who got married in the early 60s. They were so madly in love and so romantic! Unfortunately Danica’s grandma passed away in 2005 but her grandfather still swoons at her pictures and carries their wedding pictures with him. After he moved to the US from Cuba (he fled during the revolution)... he started his own company... one of the first food trucks in the Boston area! When he saved enough money he brought her grandma From Cuba and they started their life in the states. This car carried them and three girls from Boston to FL. Danica grew up with this car. Her grandfather has always kept it up and taken all of his grandkids for a ride around the neighborhood! They wanted to recreate photos similar to her grandparents as a way to pay homage to their love!
